Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP) demonstrates to your colleagues, leadership, and – most importantly – to yourself; that you’re an expert in accreditation and regulatory compliance. There are currently three certifications available; one addressing a broad knowledge of the Medicare Conditions of Participation for acute care hospitals (CIHQ-CMS), one addressing an in-depth knowledge of a hospital’s physical environment (HACP-PE), and one that demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of regulations and industry standards of care addressing infection prevention & control in hospitals (HACP-IC). Disease specific certification is offered to hospitals for targeted patient populations and conditions. CIHQ offers the Disease Specific Certification in the following areas: Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, Primary Stroke Center, Heart Failure, Joint Replacement Surgery and, Primary Heart Attack Center.
