The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) and AnalytAIX have partnered to deliver the hospital industry’s first formal certification program focused on the safe, ethical, and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence.
Healthcare organizations worldwide are rapidly deploying artificial intelligence (AI) across clinical, operational, and administrative workflows. While current oversight initiatives rigorously evaluate traditional quality, safety, and compliance, AI introduces new categories of operational, ethical, and governance risk that are not systematically assessed today.
The overall goal of this certification is to provide assurance to healthcare institutions, providers, patients, and other key stakeholders that AI programs and systems are safe and trustworthy.
