NEW! Industry News and Updates: CMS Revised Medicare Fraud & Abuse Training for Parts C and D Released on the Medicare Learning Network

CMS announced a revised web-based training course, on the Medicare Part C and Part D Reporting Requirements and Data Validation. CIHQ provided the keynote speaker for the Kentucky Hospital Association’s 2025 Healthcare Quality Improvement Conference celebrating the relentless pursuit of quality in Kentucky. The conference was held March 17 – 19 at the Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa. KHAQuality.com is dedicated entirely to the quality programs in which KHA and member hospitals are currently engaged. Hospital teams can access resources, toolkits, recordings of educational events and more. Community members can see the hard work Kentucky’s hospitals are doing to improve they care they provide.

CIHQ Joined UT Arlington: Center for Rural Health and Nursing Mobile Simulation Lab Launch

On March 28 ,2025, CIHQ was present to congratulate the UT Arlington’s Center for Rural Health and Nursing’s Mobile Simulation Lab Launch. The event was held at UT Arlington’s College of Nursing and Health Innovations. The Center is revolutionizing health care training with its Mobile Simulation Lab, rolling cutting-edge education directly to communities in need. The unit allows the nursing program to bring clinical education to smaller communities, health care agencies and rural areas. Aspen Drude, Manager of the Center for Rural Health and Nursing, said the simulation lab allows nurses and nursing students in rural communities to better understand a situation and practice providing quality care to patients before it’s in front of them. Look for her at the Summit!

CIHQ Sponsored the Tribal Public Health Conference in Oklahoma: Circle of Wellness: Balancing Mind, Body, Spirit, and Community

CIHQ exhibited at the 17th Annual Tribal Public Health Conference in Durant, OK. The Tribal Public Health Conference was a collaborative effort between 7th Generation and the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board. They stood together in a celebration of resilience, unity, and wellness. The theme for this year, Circle of Wellness: Balancing Mind, Body, Spirit, and Community, invited us to reflect on the interconnectedness of our lives and the importance of maintaining balance in a world filled with challenges. The conference was held on April 1-3, 2025 at the Choctaw Resort in Durant, Oklahoma.

GPHA: Great Plains Health Alliance Annual Meeting

CIHQ will attend the annual GPHA Conference on July 15 – 17, 2025 at Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina Kansas. Great Plains Health Alliance is an organization of leased, managed and affiliated hospitals in Kansas and Nebraska. Since it was formed in 1950, GPHA has been committed to rural health care and the management of rural hospitals.
