"I appreciated our team leader for being approachable. She provided insight and took her time to explain things that were valuable and will improve our organization. She was professional yet friendly as well and in an already stressful situation that perfect balance always helps and made us feel comfortable working with her.
Our life safety surveyor was great to learn from and he as well was approachable, friendly and professional."

"Our leadership team was very appreciative of the clear & effective communication of our team leader in explaining the survey process and procedures. She set the tone throughout the entirety of the survey which was critical for this LTAC to fully evaluate itself and identify opportunities to enhance their services. The frontline staff also commented on how friendly and approachable the surveyor team was throughout their time on the units.
Our generalist surveyor was very knowledgeable and friendly. We especially appreciate her feedback on monitoring metrics for our CERT designation and look forward to enhancing that program.
Our other generalist surveyor was very nice, cheerful and easy to work with throughout the survey. She explained her observations with the team which was very helpful and appreciated.
Staff reported that our life safety specialist was very polite with all the staff and they had a great learning experience with him.
General Comment
If in the future, there is an opportunity to provide specific parts of the binder's documents electronically and prior to day one of the survey. This might be helpful for surveyors and the hospital. This might be challenging though if things were to change from the time they submit the documents to the first day of survey."
Stephanie Rudert, Director of Quality Management
BridgePoint Hospital Capitol Hill

"Our recent accreditation survey with CIHQ was a very positive and collaborative experience. From start to finish, the surveyors worked with us as true partner; they were an engaging team, sharing insights, and helping us strengthen the quality and safety practices we’re proud of. We appreciated the open communication and constructive approach, which made the process both educational and encouraging. It truly felt like a shared effort focused on providing the best care for our patients."
Stephanie Tran, QI / RM Manager
College Hospital Costa Mesa

"The survey was both fair and informative. It was obvious from the beginning that the surveyors were knowledgeable, wanted to help us, but were also thorough. Surveys are never "enjoyable" per se, but this team was both enjoyable and helpful as we went through the survey process. This was a definite change from the organization that had performed our previous survey. We were overall very pleased."
