
"Our leadership team was very appreciative of the clear & effective communication of our team leader in explaining the survey process and procedures. She set the tone throughout the entirety of the survey which was critical for this LTAC to fully evaluate itself and identify opportunities to enhance their services. The frontline staff also commented on how friendly and approachable the surveyor team was throughout their time on the units.
Our generalist surveyor was very knowledgeable and friendly. We especially appreciate her feedback on monitoring metrics for our CERT designation and look forward to enhancing that program.
Our other generalist surveyor was very nice, cheerful and easy to work with throughout the survey. She explained her observations with the team which was very helpful and appreciated.
Staff reported that our life safety specialist was very polite with all the staff and they had a great learning experience with him.
General Comment
If in the future, there is an opportunity to provide specific parts of the binder's documents electronically and prior to day one of the survey. This might be helpful for surveyors and the hospital. This might be challenging though if things were to change from the time they submit the documents to the first day of survey."

Our team leader was professional with everyone she interacted with. A few nurses voiced that she didn't make them feel intimidated and it made easier to speak during the survey.
